Terry is the former dancer/choreographer for Janet Jackson and founder of L.A. City Rockers.  He has won several National Choreographer-of-the-Year Awards, known for fusing aspects of old school hip hop dance with today's modern hip hop styles.  

How do I pay for my child's tuition?

Brandy began choreographing at a young age of eleven. She became particularly involved in the competition scene, learning quickly her gift for teaching and choreographing. She later became a member of the Tremaine Teen Company, under the direction of Marguerite Derricks. Brandy has studied with artists such as Rei Aoo, Red Savage, Terry Bixler, Jayson Wright, Joanne Bruchez, and many others. She has performed at the Moro Landis Studios Gala, the Sunset House of Blues,  Arnold Scwarzenegger's Firm on Fitness physical education program, and the Henry Mayo Memorial Hospital Fundraiser program, among others. She has choreographed many works that have been performed at numerous competitions nation wide, as well as at Evoke's Celebrate Dance Festival 2005, the Hysterica Benefit Concert, Moorpark College, Santa Clarita’s Festival of DanceStar's of Tomorrow: Dancers Responding to AIDS benefit, and has also choreographed for Hart High School's 2005-2006 Dance Team.  Brandy was award Teacher of the Year in 2008, 2010, & 2011 and Choreographer of the Year also in 2008, 2009, 2012, & 2013 at Kids Artistic Review National Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada and Choreographer of the Year in 2013 at Rainbow Dance Connection National Finals in Las Vegas, NV.  Her choreography has also been featured at The Carnival: Choreographer's Ball at the Key Club in Hollywood.  Currently Brandy is Head Coach and choreographer for our local high school, Canyon High School Dance Team, which under Brandy's direction won two national titles in 2011 & 2012. She is also directing and choreographing for her very own pre-professional contemporary dance company Emerge and has recently completed choreography for the film "Yellow", directed by Nick Cassavettes, released in 2012.

How can I ensure my child is getting the best possible dance education?

Venus Hall began training at Joseph Holmes Chicago Dance Theatre. She was an all-city winner of dance in the NAACP ACT-SO Competition. She received a B.F.A. from Barat College and graduated as a member of The National Honor Key Society. She joined Alvin Ailey in 1995, performing nationally and internationally. She worked with  choreographers such as Judith Jamison, George Faison, Dwight Rhoden, Alonzo King, Ron Brown, and many others. Miss Hall is very excited to be at New World Dance.

What do I do if my child is feeling like he or she is having difficulties catching up in dance class?

With a keen eye for detail and the insight of a visionary, Chris Payne Dupre' has created works on stage and screen that have captivated audiences the world over.  As Supervising Choreographer on the NBC television show "America's Got Talent," Chris worked to polish and transform a variety of weekly contestants, into world-class entertainers.  His work has been seen on the FOX television show “Take Me Out,” with host George Lopez, the Soul Train Awards and the HBO series "Arli$$".  He has done movement coaching for actors Seth Green and Christina Applegate and choreographed performances for renowned musical artists such as Prince, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Paulina Rubio and rock icons Jane's Addiction.  Training in various disciplines of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Swing and Salsa along with the skill of stilt-walking, has allowed Chris to perform with Diana Ross, Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul, Brian McKnight, Kylie Minogue, Enrique Iglesias and the legendary Mel Torme. He has performed on the 68th Academy Awards, Superbowl XXX & XXXII, the made-for-TV movie "Cinderella," Disney’s feature film "Newsies" and the Tony & Grammy award winning Original Broadway Cast of Elton John and Tim Rice's "Aida." Chris has had the privilege of working in film, television and stage with such notable directors as Rob Reiner (Rumor Has It), Robert Zemeckis (A Christmas Carol), Tom Hanks (That Thing You Do), Chris Columbus (Rent), John Landis  (Pepsi) and Garry Marshall (LA Opera).  TrueVisionEntertainment or simply TVE, is also Chris’ production rental facility located in downtown Los Angeles. TVE has quickly become a production favorite with clients including; Chris Brown, America’s Got Talent, American Film Institute and Disney.





Christopher was born Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and at age four began dance classes.  Following high school he moved with his family to Los Angeles, California to pursue a professional career in acting, dance, and singing.  Since moving, Christopher has been seen dancing on television with artists like P. Diddy and Busta Rhymes, Dream, and alongside Britney Spears . He has toured the country dancing with 98Degrees, Dream, NSYNC and other artists and has a number of television appearances that include "CSI-Miami", "Malcolm In The Middle", "American Dreams", "Six Feet Under", "Will And Grace", "Judging Amy", "Mad TV", "The Drew Carey Show", "Nightmare Room", and "Days Of Our Lives".  In 2004 Christopher's talents came together in his starring role for Sony Pictures box office hit "You Got Served".   He also had a starring role as the bad guy, Anthony Bishop, in the 20th Century Fox film "Big Momma's House 2".
