What makes our program different?
Not only will we be having auditions, rehearsals, and full scale theatrical productions, but we will also be providing weekly training courses in all the fundamentals to prepare you for the process. So not only will you get to perform in an amazing show, you will also receive essential training in: acting, vocals, improvization, performance, and characterization skills! And, as a division stemming from New World Dance Academy, just imagine what our productions will be like with all the national award-winning choreographers and directors on staff! You’ll be on well on your way to becoming a Triple Threat! For ages 8-adult!
OUR MISSION
The mission to provide a varied theatre education to gain experience and technique in the performing arts whilst working as a collective, building self esteem, and expressing themselves in a safe environment of artistic exploration.
Theatre Director
Jennifer Degeddingseze, or simply Ms. “D”, has been teaching Theater Arts and Music for 45 years within the Public and Private School sectors, including several recent productions in Santa Clarita. She has written and directed several original dramatic plays and musical productions that have been performed in theaters, schools, and churches throughout California and has directed numerous Broadway shows. Ms. D is very excited to be directing New World Theatre!
